It’s only natural that even the strongest relationships get strained at some point and time, resulting in the inability to function optimally. In counseling a partnership or couple can recognize and begin to better manage or reconcile troublesome differences and repeating patterns of distress. Issues and concerns can be explored collaboratively and discussed openly. The couple can adopt conscious changes in the relationship and over time the effectiveness evaluated and improved upon as needed.
