CAVA seeks seasoned and newly licensed clinicians interested in joining our Outpatient Services Department. Clinicians will benefit from being part of an agency dedicated to serving others while being supported in a group environment with peer-to-peer support and consultations. Additionally, we provide an atmosphere fostering professional growth and development.

Administrative staff protocols include contacting clients 48 hours in advance to verify scheduled appointments. Clinicians and Clients have the advantage of a staffed waiting area where clients have the opportunity to update insurance information, manage co-pays, address billing issues, set future appointments, and manage any cancellations which may occur. Clinical case coverage. CAVA offers case consultations by seasoned clinicians, individual supervision for licensed clinicians if desired, and group supervision for clinical support once a month. Minimum Position Requirements:

Education/Training:  Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LCP in Virginia and eligible for credentialing with major insurance panels; those with clinical licenses in multiple states, in addition to Virginia, are encouraged to apply.

Experience/Knowledge/Background:

Masters Level Licensed Clinician required. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience serving individuals with varying mental health diagnoses is preferred.

Skills:

Must possess basic computer/keyboarding skills with the ability to manage an electronic health record. Strong verbal and written communication skills on an individual, group, and community basis.

Appearance/Personality:

Courtesy and professional business demeanor and presentation are critical. Due to the personally sensitive nature of information in this area, confidentially is essential. Must have the ability to work well with diverse groups of people and be extremely flexible.

Special Requirements:

Experience with maximizing and managing a clinical caseload, clinical supervision, crisis management, knowledge of commercial Insurances, and licensure regulations.

Population Being Served:

Cava serves children, adolescents, and adults suffering from varying mental health disorders.  Our team provides individual, family, marital/couples, and group counseling via virtual platforms or in-person sessions.
