Stephany enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families as they heal and build stronger relationships. Stephany’s goal is to assist clients in achieving their goals of being autonomous and prosperous in their lives. Stephany received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Virginia Union University and her Masters in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Regent University. She is currently a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, working towards obtaining her License in Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Virginia. She has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Trainings of the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. She can assist clients through issues of trauma with (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. Stephany will work to understand the client and use the best approach and techniques. She is compassionate, supportive, optimistic, and patient with clients during their counseling journey. She has learned that bonding and forming a relationship with clients is crucial to the counseling process. Stephany chose the counseling profession because becoming a counselor has always been her dream to help others. Stephany enjoys and is delighted to see the growth as she walks through life with clients.
